Having been first attracted by the shadows on trees that she saw on grass, she did a lot of studying a method that does not present the object in a two-dimensional form on canvas. Alexa Meade's painting style, which is very ephemeral in nature, is apparent. The only work of Alexa's art that survives is the photograph. Trompe-l'oeil art is created through the combination of two methods of photography and painting. The result is two-dimensional flattened photograph. Meade often integrates her model in the surrounding three-dimensional environment, which allows for her to work within the context of their own. In this way, she has removed the borders between photography, painting and the performance.
