Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe is a British-Nigerian mixed race child was born into the family of South London. Her father is a Nigerian-Swiss, and her mother is English. Her family was raised on a South London council estate as a teenager, she fourteen, she attended The Brit School. She went to an academy called the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London in which she earned an BA in acting. The stage she appeared in was many productions while attending school such as King Henry V, as Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights, as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe began acting with Storm Damage. Since then, she has appeared as a guest for Teachers, Doctors, Casualty as well as Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's film debut was in Woody Allen's Cassandra's Dream (2007), with Colin Farrell. After this success, Madekwe was cast as Elisha in the BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN and appeared on six of the episodes Trexx and Flipside. In 2008 she landed Bambi's role on ITV2 Drama The Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Secret Diary of a Call Girl. She appeared in both series 2 and 3. Madekwe also appeared on the comedic How to Lose Friends and to annoy people (2008). A couple of her credits on stage include Little Sweet Thing (by Roy Williams) and Flight Path (by David Watson).
Madekwe officially made her US debut with The Beautiful Life in 2009. The show aired just two episodes on The CW, and was eventually removed from the air. The actress was selected in February 2011 as Ashley Davenport on the ABC drama Revenge. Madekwe's departure from the series was confirmed in May 2013. Following two seasons as a main character, she appeared as a guest in the first episode of season three. Madekwe starred as Tituba in the TV show Salem from 2014 to 2016. Madekwe married her actor partner Iddo goldberg in June 2012. Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into a large, extended family. Her parents were Roy and Patty and four older brothers: Rob, Brett, and twins Todd and Bram. Ashley's brothers, who were each of them extremely physically active, were all playing hockey in the winter and baseball during the summer months, which means that she grew up playing in arenas and baseball parks. Ashley was unable to walk, but could dance. In the end, at the age of 2 She discovered Baby Ballet. Ashley discovered her love for dance at this age. After graduating from high school, Ashley danced competitively in the top divisions in tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, acrobatics, lyrical, musical theatre and hip hop.
